OMB Approves SF-PPR: The Standard Form Performance and Progress Report (SF-PPR) was approved by OMB on November 30, 2007 for government-wide use by grantees. The SF-PPR was developed as one of several grants streamlining efforts to comply with Public Law 106-107, the Federal Financial Assistance Management Improvement Act, and was recommended by the Grants Policy Committee of the CFO Council. The COE has initiated an electronic pilot of the SF-PPR as a proof of concept to demonstrate that nearly all or most currently existing forms used for grant project performance reporting, progress reporting, or programmatic surveys can fit into the SF-PPR formats. The COE pilot will pre-populate and validate SF-PPR submissions against a back-office Federal grants database to reduce the burden of data entry, increase the accuracy of reported data, and reduce processing time for any resubmission of reports should the data be inaccurate or insufficient.
